I provide a telehealth psychiatry service. This service is provided online through your PC, Ipad, tablet, or smartphone.
Your device needs a microphone, speaker and camera. Most tablets, notebooks and smartphones have these automatically. Some PCs may require a separate webcam and/or speakers.
Referral
Please see your General Practitioner to request a referral for assessment
Referrals can be sent over argus, healthlink, or facsimile. Details are available on the Contacts page
Making An Appointment
Once your GP has sent through a referral please email appointments@oztelepsych.com.au to enquire about available appointments.
You will be contacted by email once your email has been received. This will include advice about appointment availability and, if an appointment is available, a summary of consultation fees
If you have not received an email please check your junk email for an email from appointments@oztelepsych.com.au
Prior to the appointment
Appointments are made over the Zoom Cloud Meetings app. This can be downloaded on your PC, ipad, android tablet or smartphone.
Please check you have downloaded the latest version and check the app is working before the appointment
You should receive a text message confirmation of the appointment two days prior to the appointment. Please notify via email on appointments@oztelepsych.com.au if you are not able to make the appointment at least 24 hours in advance. A cancellation fee may be payable if you cancel within 24 hours.
You will be emailed a zoom link for the appointment on the evening prior to the appointment
On the day of the appointment
On the day of the appointment please open the zoom cloud meetings app 10 minutes prior to the appointment time.
You will be admitted to the meeting from the waiting room
Fees are payable via eftpos at the time of the appointment. Please have your medicare and credit/debit card details available at the time of the appointment
Followup appointments will generally be made at the end of the appointment if required
